This site is the single source of vu247.com event information. vu247.com categorically redefines the way in which events are published and marketed globally. vu247.com makes event information live - accurate - and dynamic! We make event information available free of charge to web masters and other publishers with Calendar Widgets. We can also push events out to WAP enabled mobile phones and to registered user emails.

This site answers the age-old 'What's on?' conundrum: on everywhere! We uniquely make your event available to other WEB and WAP users, freeing it from the single source web site box it is in today. We uniquely enable the source of the data to also be the creator of the event information, thus ensuring that what is published on line is the latest, most accurate information available.

vu247.com aims to be the single source of event information, for any event anywhere, in the world. Help us get there by listing all of your events.

Contribute

Registered users will be able to contribute comments to an event listing, such as ratings, experiences, suggestions, and more. This feature shall be enabled imminently.

Be Notified

Registered users can select to be notified by email or text message for any event that they so chose. As well, you can add your favorite events onto Outlook, Google, Facebook, MySpace, and more.

Privacy Policy

We will not share your email address.

The Company fully respects the right to privacy, and will not collect any personal information about Users without their clear permission. Any personal information which is volunteered by a User will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with current Canadian provincial and federal privacy acts. The Company does not collect any personal data apart from information which is volunteered. Any personal information which is provided in this way is not made available to any third parties, save as required by law, and is used by the Company only in line with the purpose for which you provided it.

Postings

You must be registered to post an event. There is a license fee for most event listings, but we do have free services for limited volume and for non-for-profits, educational institutions and suchlike.

Free Calendar Widget

You can select several events to list on your own web site free of charge. This process is quick and easy. Please follow the procedures as listed under Widget.

Paid Advertising

vu247.com offers several options for paid advertising.

• Link Exchange: If you have an event site, send us an email to links@vu247.com and we will consider a reciprocal link. If you are a major event organizer with a database driven event management system, we will consider an XML link to capture your information and display it on our site. Again send us an email.

• Paid Advertising - AdPin: We offer sponsors the opportunity to link to events, whether you are a sponsor of that event or not. You must register as an AdPin User and enter your information. The "AdPin" will appear on the maps when your linked-to event is shown on the map-view.

• Right Column Banner Ad: We offer graphic image ad spots per week on the right sidebar of our pages. The graphic image must be a standard 160x600 GIF or JPEG banner ad to be displayed properly.

• Left Column Banner Ad: We offer graphic image ad spots per week on the left sidebar of our pages. The graphic image must be a standard 160x200 GIF or JPEG banner ad to be displayed properly. We also have a self-serve ad creation procedure to help you create your own advertising that will be placed in this Column.

• Enhanced Postings: You can enhance your event posting so that it appears as an event listing in the postcard display format along side other events.

• Notifications: Our event notifications to registered users is e-mailed by request only. You can sponsor this activity by advertising on this message.
